Keepsake — One-of-One Textile Reconstructed Gown

A one-of-one corset gown developed over the course of a month as a study in structure, preservation, and transformation.

Constructed through extensive hand-sewing and reinforced with internal double boning, the piece is designed to contour and support the body with a precise, sculpted silhouette. Vintage crochet doilies—each sourced individually—have been carefully placed and stitched into the garment, preserving their original intricacy while reworking them into a more controlled, architectural composition.

Built upon a reclaimed textile foundation, the gown transforms existing material into something entirely new—elevating what was once utilitarian into a structured, intentional form. The interior has been fully connected by hand to reinforce both structure and finish.

The back is completed with a full lace-up corset closure, allowing for an adjustable, contoured fit while revealing the craftsmanship behind the piece.
