Heirloom Reimagined - One-of-One Reconstructed Doily Gown

A one-of-one gown constructed from twenty-five individual vintage crochet doilies, each sourced over time and reworked entirely by hand.

Every element was individually placed and hand-stitched to contour the body while preserving the integrity of the original textiles. What once existed as separate, decorative heirloom pieces has been brought into a single, continuous form—redefined without losing its history.

The halter neckline leaves the back fully open, finished with a corset lace-up closure that allows the fit to be drawn in and adjusted. The surface remains richly textured throughout, with each section holding its own detail while contributing to the structure of the whole.

Both delicate and structured, the piece exists at the intersection of past and present—where craftsmanship is not just seen, but felt.

Measurements:  Length from top to bottom: 54 inches.   Bust: 30-32 inches.   Waist: 26-29  inches.   Hip: 34-38 inches.

Structured with slight flexibility/Adjustable through the corset back. Best suited for XS–S depending on desired fit and how tightly it is laced.
